We are trying to book
Hospedería San Martín Pinario for April ‘24 without success. Is the hotel closed?

They don't take bookings for the following year until Oct of the year before. So it will be Oct 2023 tat you will need to contact them.

The place is very open, stayed there two weeks ago.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

We booked ours through emailing them
I did the same this morning (thanks to all the good advice received on this thread!) For what it’s worth, I was booking for two nights in late September and all the non-pilgrim rooms were already fully booked, but they did have the pilgrim accommodations available.

My wife and I have stayed there two of our four caminos, both times in a private room with bath. Just curious to learn what a pilgrim's room is like? Bob

A bed, a shower toilet and a view at roof of the former convent .
anyway that was my room at the upper floor Very sober

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Here’s some pictures of a Pilgrim’s room. Twin bed, desk, shelves, chair, closets, extra blankets, sheets and towels, private bathroom, heater, and daily cleaning.
Nice windows that open. They were seminarian rooms at one time.
They also have double rooms, 2 twin beds & perhaps a triple.
Breakfast is included and the same as in the remodeled rooms.
Love staying here.
