Hello everyone,

My name's Robbie, and I walked the Frances in October 2023. When I got home, my husband, Chris, and I talked about creating something together. We both love walking and exploring new places on foot. It just happens that he's excellent at what he does with user experience design. Then, serendipitously, we met our friend Eric, who also quit his job to join us and build the app. We all met at a Zen temple here in Honolulu...

It looks like your app is only available for iPhone. Do you have plans for an Android version?
Hi @trecile, We've gotten a few requests for Android already. At the moment, we only have an iOS engineer. I'm hopeful and positive there's a way for the tech to work in Android, and maybe we can hire an Android engineer when we get enough funding.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Just FYI: We pivoted and changed the app's name from For Pedestrians to Holoholo. "Holo" in Hawaiian means "to walk, move, flow, progress, or go." Traditionally means to go out, walk, ride, or wander about.

I have tried to download the app on an iPhone but it requires IOS18… and my iPhone 15 can only receive (to date) IOS17.

Update! Only once I had downloaded IOS17 could I ….. access IOS18. Thus I should be able to download your app soon. Gracias.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi @filly! Yes, you should be able to update to iOS 18 and download the app. I use an iphone14 myself and it’s working perfectly fine. Thank you! let me know if you have any questions. Basically you don’t have to do anything much on the app apart from Renaming the places, changing icons, if it’s not too accurate, and writing ✍️ your reflections. :) We’re still keeping on updating and iterating the app as well. So it’ll be amazing to hear your feedback. 🙏🏼
