Holiday trading in Pamplona

Hi everyone,
We will be in Pamplona over Easter Sunday and Easter Monday to start Camino on the Tuesday. Do any shops trade over these days as we will be looking for walking poles, having travelled from Australia with carry on only.

The small print leads me to say - oh dear! You could be out of luck!
If you could manage to wait till Tuesday to buy the poles, there are a few shops in the city. One in the old town, another near the bullring (Decathlon) and yet another close by the Cathedral.

I see you will be doing the long haul from Australia. Will you take a break at your Spanish entry point (mine is usually Madrid ).. or do you have connections booked to Pamplona same day ?
If you can stop a night in Madrid ., you could get the poles there before heading to Pamplona.

Just a thought/idea. Safe travels and buen camino.

If you can't buy them before you start, you can buy poles a couple of days later at the Decathlon in Estella.

Or another thought is that people may be getting rid of their poles after crossing the Pyrenees so check the give away bins at albergues.

Do you know where you will stay in Pamplona? Maybe order a set to pick up as you check in if the hotel is OK with it.
