I am going to be on the Camino Frances for the month of February. I own two sleeping bags: one rated to 0* and the other to -10*. The weight difference is about 400g. It looks like the outside temps don't usually go below 0* that much and I have read that most albergues are heated so I am leaning to the 0* and using a jacket to supplement it on the colder nights. Would this work well or should I take the -10* bag?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I'd take the one that weighs less.

Definitely - less is best. In fact you might even consider buying an even lighter weight bag (10 or even 15 degrees) and using your silk long underwear as your sleeping attire.
