Happy Thanksgiving to all US pilgrims!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Such a thoughtful gesture, thank you! Not that I am from USA! but when did that stop anyone on the forum hitting the send button?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Peg and I weren't on camino a few years ago at this time. We were looking for a place where there was turkey on the menu in a seaside town in New Zealand. We had no luck so we sat down at the last place. One table over was a NZ citizen but US resident who was visiting her father. They were celebrating Thanksgiving at the end of their meal by munching on a chicken and cranberry pizza for desert. As they left they offered us the half of the pizza they didn't want. Yes! Thank you! Close enough.

Yes Happy Thanks Giving - the ONE truly universal American holiday. Being non-religious virtually all Americans celebrate this day (going back to the early 1600's). Just remember - leave your credit card at home on Friday when the sales start. Cheers

After the Caminho I have been working as a volunteer at the Porto albergue and we celebrated Thanksgiving, volunteer and peregrinos with a 7kilo Portuguese turkey ( peru in Portuguese). It was a wonderful experience.
