Today is St James' Feast Day.
Hope you all have a wonderful day - and if you are in Santiago enjoy the festivities - give the saint a hug from us all!

It's a special day - today marks the first, and second anniversary of the date I started my first, and second Camino.

Wish I could be there.

Wow, in the rush of things, I had completely forgotten today was St. James' Day! I was wondering why I felt the urge to go get supplies for my next Camino!

Thanks for the reminder & the great shot of the Santiago at Roncesvalles!

St James' Feast Day

Some historians say that James' feast day used to be in December but it was mid-winter and not many pilgrims journeyed to the tomb so a decision was made to change it to July.
