This group from Finland is planning a medieval re-enactment of the camino from O Cebreiro.

Training is a one-day hike, from the Nousiainen church to Turku, travelling the Nun Trail, about 19 kilometers. When they arrive, they plan to eat in a restaurant 200 meters from the Turku Cathedral, the oldest building in Finland.

A medieval re-enactment is afoot in Drachenwald in the form of a plan to take part in the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela "using as medieval gear as possible," an endeavor in the footsteps of thousands of medieval pilgrims. The pilgrimage is set to take place June 6-15, 2009 from Cebreiro to Santiago, Spain. Participants should expect to travel approximately 21 kilometers per day.
