Hi,

I am arriving into Santiago on 25th May and planning to start walking from La Faba. Just wondering what my options are. Many thanks, from a Solo Walker looking forward to getting a good full 7 days on the Camino to test myself for doing the full thing next year.

Regards,

Karl

One option would be to take the ALSA bus from the Santiago airport to Piedrafita Do Cebreiro and then a taxi down to La Faba. Here is an ALSA web site in English form more info. >> http://www.alsa.es From La Faba, of course, you would be starting your camino with a steep climb up to the almost mythic village of O Cebreiro. However, if you wished you could walk directly from Piedrafita along the road up to O Cebreiro without passing through La Faba.

Buen camino,

Margaret Meredith
