Hello, I am currently completing my Camino de Santiago portion in obtaining the Dual Pilgrim designation with the Kumano Kodo.

There is a requirement to first obtain the completion stamp from the Pilgrim office. Do I have to wait in same line as those going for there Compostella, or is there a separate office section for this?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
If you ONLY want a stamp from the Pilgrim Office to document the fact that you made it to Santiago, it is easy, FAST and FREE.

Simply tell the security person or volunteer at the front door that you only want a sello, or “solo sello por favor.” You will be directed to step into the adjacent group office, inside the front door, just to the right.

Alternatively, you will be escorted inside to the person working the cash register for all purchases. They have the appropriate stamp.

You DO NOT need to wait on line for this. HOWEVER, once the stamp is affixed, that credencial cannot be used in support of obtaining a Compostela. The final stamp effectively “closes” the credential.

I hope this helps.
