Please could someone advice me on getting a public transport back to Santiago de Compostela from Muxia and Finsterra. I would like to know how frequent the transportations are from Muxia and Finsterra to Santiago de Compostela or somewhere near the SCQ airport.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I strongly recommend traveling back from Muxia to Santiago, even if there are far less buses, the bus from Finisterre is, let's just say, 'motion sickness inducing' ;-)

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

It seems that the bus from Muxía is faster than from Finisterre, even if you take the "express" bus from Finisterre that doesn't stop in every tiny town.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

THank you @SYates,, good useful info as I will be doing that route in May 2020. Hopefully I will walk back, but if I run out of time, I would like to be able to bus. So Muxia to Santiago it is, or else walk back!

Another option is to get with a group and hire a taxi. That way you can go on a more flexible schedule (not one that requires being at the bus station at 6:30 AM)

I was to be in Santiago for 31 December 2026 to see the opening of the Pilgrim door for the start of the 2027 Holy Year. I was hoping to walk to (or from) Mucia but n the 5 days prior. Has anyone...
I sleep so much better when there's a privacy curtain on the bunk bed. Can anyone recommend an albergue with privacy curtains based on recent experience in Finisterra, please?
