Getting Back to Lisbon

I have seen many recommendations to take the bus back to Lisbon from Santiago.

I was wondering if anyone has taken the train to A Coruna and then flown to Lisbon. I recently saw very cheap flights from A Coruna to Lisbon. I get motion sickness pretty badly on buses, but not so much in trains and planes, so I was looking for another option.

Thanks!

Bom Dia.
Can relate... hence i chose to take the train back to lisboa vs other means. Went very well. (With stops in Porto and Santarem for “restdays” and some more visiting/ exploring).
Plenty of info found on this forum reg options.
Best wishes. Bom caminho.

I live in Lisbon and returned from Santiago by train last July. There were two trains a day leaving Santiago, one in the early morning that could take you to Lisbon on the same day, and one in the afternoon that required an overnight stop in Porto (which we did, which turned out great because we met up with some family friends from my childhood who happened to be on holiday in Porto at the time). If you take the train I think you'll have to switch in Vigo and Porto.

Thanks for the quick replies and the suggestion of the train.
Where can I find train information, schedule, cost, how long the train takes in English?

Thanks for all your help!!!! As a single mom of many I don't have a lot of time for research so I really appreciate the help!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
