I would start walking west on the Camino. Stop when you are tired.

Take that very long, very broad and very straight street that is first called Calle Marqués de Murrieta and then Avenida de Burgos; go west, roughly where you see the sun right now and not in the opposite direction.

Or ask a random person on the streets - put a helpless and questioning expression on your face and say "Santiago?"

When you are feeling better and able to walk Navarette is roughly 14 km west on the CF with many possible places to stay as listed in Gronze Camino Frances.

Please do not try to rrush off too quickly since recently you have been unwell.

Forgot to say, not walking! Plane, train or automobile! All good. On train for Barcelona.

Have had to abandon camino plans, but will be back one day.
