My wife and I just returned from our first 11 days on the Camino Francés, and I've posted a summary on our blog of what gear worked and what didn't. There are as many opinions on what to take with you as there are people you can ask, but maybe this will help someone in their planning.

Thanks for all that info Russell, a great help especially with the rain gear and sleeping bags, it's helped with a few decisions. I'm impressed that you never got blisters with your feet being so wet.
