From Toulouse Airport to St. Jean Pied de Port - Taxi anyone

I just booked my flight to Toulouse and will arrive on March 16th at 2:50pm to start EL CAMINO - I am not sure how to get to St. Jean from the airport and I read somewhere about a taxi service? Anyone arriving at the same time want to share a taxi? Or do you have a recommendation on how to get to St. Jean Pied de Port from the Toulouse airport? I heard also about a bus and then train but am wondering about where to find the time schedule for the bus and train?

Thanks fellow pilgrims!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
You could take a train from Toulouse to Bayonne to SJPP (the second part of the voyage by bus)

Aller le Mercredi 17/03 entre 08h10 et 13h30 - prix total pour 1 passager
Départ à 08h10 09h58 13h30
A partir de 44.30 € 25.60 € 44.30 €
Durée 04h58 06h32 06h05

And there are shuttles (navette in French) every 20 mins from Toulouse airport to the SNCF station in Toulouse (well, they drop you at the Gare Routière, the bus staion, and the Gare SNCF is 100m walk). Just a point, you have to buy your bus ticket in the little booth by the bus stop, not on the bus itself.

According to mappy.fr, it is 304km from Toulouse airport to SJPdP - the cost by taxi would be totally prohibative, even shared.

In 2005, it cost 22€ to get from Toulouse airport to Pibrac, about 15km west, so I fear that a taxi ride to Saint Jean Pied de Port would likely cost more than your flight to France. Take the bus into Toulouse, and the train to Bayonne, as others have suggested.

When in Toulouse, if you have an hour or so, go to the main square (Place de la Capitole) and relax with a glass or a coffee. Because of the airline industries in the region, much English is spoken.
