From Paris to Bayonne

Can anyone tell me if I will be allowed to take my backpack and walking staff with me in the carriage when I catch the train from Montparnasse to Bayonne, or will they need to go in a luggage van? If so, how long might I have to wait at Bayonne before collecting them? My ticket tells me that I must have my full address on items of luggage - in my case I guess that means the Hotel Paris Madrid where I am staying in Bayonne.
Thanks in anticipation.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Yes you can take your walking stick and backpack on the train with you. There are places to store luggage in most French train carriages, and you normally do look after your own luggage.
