Hi,

I am planning on Camino de Santiago for next year. I am from Romania, and very excited about starting the Camino.

I would be grateful if you give me some advice on how to get from Pamplona airport to StJeanPied du Port and how much it costs.

Thanks!

If you are walking between April and October, you could email Caroline at Express Bourricot who operates a minibus service for pilgrims from St Jean. She will collect you at the bus station in Pamplona. She charges acording to the number of people in the bus.

Or, you could take a normal bus at 6pm from Pamplona to Roncesvalles and then get a taxi from there.

For 10 Euro on an ALSA bus:

PAMPLONA 14:00
BURGUETE 14:45
RONCESVALLES 15:00
VALCARLOS 15:15
SAINT JEAN DE PIED DE PORT 15:30

They do not post next year's schedule yet, so check the ALSA website closer to your departure date.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I think this was a summer season Holy Year service only and ends on Tuesday 31.08.2010

The ALSA site shows the bus running through September 12, 2010, making service next year look a little shaky!
