Seven regions of Spain remain on yellow alert for more snow today. New falls are possible in Asturias, Navarra and the Madrid region, as well as in the provinces of Cáceres, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Huesca and all of Castilla y León with the excecption of Valladolid.
The snow line will be between 1100m and 1300m in the NE of the country and between 1300m and 1700m elsewhere.
Where it does not snow moderate rainfall is forecast, with the heaviest rain in Galicia and the mountains of the north where there could be storms at times.
Unsettled conditions will continue on the Costas with rain most likely on the Costa del Sol and least likely in the SE of the country. There will be some improvement at the weekend which will be generally cloudy, but dry in most areas along the Mediterranean.
