Or at least internet abbreviations anyway.
I had someone ask me about abbreviations so here is a list of the more common ones on the forum. Feel free to add your own. Hope this helps :)

LOL/lol Laughing out loud
TTYL Talk to you later
LMAO Laughing me "hiny, petunia, cute little bottom" off
SJPP/SJPdP St Jean Pied de Port
VDLP Via de la Plata
CF Camino Frances
CP Camino Portuges
OP Not sure....other pilgrim?


and for fun...Ὑπιαίνετε! Goodbye in ancient Greek (apparently :D)

IMHO - In My Humble Opinion. Should be used often, otherwise one risks getting called up short ........IMHO.:)
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I like this thread! Was recently thinking about the same issue. I didn't know an abbreviation wich was used and I suppose there are quit some older people who probably used more greek than chatlanguage. IMNSHO :cool:
