Hi there!
I have now booked my ticket to Madrid the 31'th of May, and then home again from Santiago on the 13'th of June. Still havent desided where to start the hike. Does anyone have a tip on how to get from Madrid and up north? And also what would be a good place to go to first?

It is also very easy to get the bus from Madrid to Leon which is lovely city to start from. Depends how far you want to walk each day. Its probably 12 or 13 days walking from Leon to Santiago so maybe wouldnt leave you enough time for sight-seeing/relaxing in Santiago. I usually try to build in one 'spare' day just in case of bad weather, injury etc.
Whatever you decide, have a great journey!
Kind regards
