Flights have started - News from Santiago

Hola - there is much relief as flights have recommenced today. Many pilgrims were of course very worried about how to get home. Some have booked replacement flights for those which were cancelled and others have booked buses. The problem is that often a replacement date is many days ahead. Some pilgrims have asked for new credenciales to walk more of the routes to use up the time!

I have to say that Santiago rose to the occassion and everyone has been extremely helpful from Tourist Offices to Farmacias providing emergency supplies of medication.
