Trying to book a flight from Santiago to London on 11th May. Wondering would there be an airport not too far from Santiago eg Corina and how difficult would it be to get there. Flights from Santiago are expensive or else take a long time with a stopover. Thanks in advance. Louise

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I've just searched on Kayak.co.uk and found flights on that day from Santiago, A Coruna and Vigo airports - all starting at less than £50. A Coruna and Vigo are both within easy reach of Santiago by train and bus.

Thanks, it looks like the best deal is from A Corina and it's quite easy to get there.

Aena manages all of Spain's Airports. You can access every airport website where you can find destinations and service providers.

You can easily get from Santiago to Vigo or A Coruna via Renfe train or Monbus bus.

I flew out of A Coruna to Heathrow at the end of March. It's a really nice small airport.

The train and bus stations are less than half a mile apart, and the airport bus is sort of opposite the bus station, across a wide road, next to a garage/petrol station. A little hard to explain, but there's another thread here which does so. It seems confusing until you are actually there when it makes sense!

The bus stop is about 200m east of the railway station, on the western side of the major road leading out of the city which is at a slightly lower level than the railway station. The petrol station is very close by and a pedestrian walkway runs down to the bus stop. Very straightforward. The journey takes about 20 minutes, buses run at 30 minute intervals and a single fare is 1.50 euro.

Surely there are still flights from SDC to London Stansted by Ryanair.
Trains or buses run from Stansted to various parts of London.
