There is an EasyJet flight to Bairitz BIQ around 1100 each day. I’m catching that on 18 Sep then the bus (short distance apparently) to Bayonne (overnight there) then local train or bus or taxi to SJPDP. Good luck.

Thank you Geoff, we may meet along the way. We start walking about the same time as you

Adiel, Bewdy. Keep you eyes out for a ‘much-older-than-you-I’m-sure’ Aussie. I recommend using the ‘Skyscanner’ app for all flight bookings. Very comprehensive and cheap flights available. Cooee Shep.

Never had a bad experience with them. Even with small local airlines in places like Cambodia and Laos. But even if you do not book through Skyscanner it is good to research what is available. Caveat Emptor always. Cooee.

And .....fingers crossed that my Skyscanner booking will get me from Oz to SJPDP, and back. Good luck to us all.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
