First Camino in May 2018

Hey,

I`m planing to do my first Camino starting from Porto probably around the 25th of May. Just wondering how busy the route is at this time of year and if theres anyone who`s thinking of the same route at the same time then it would be good to hear from you.

If you start at the end of May you'll arrive in Santiago. Over the month it looks like you'll be part of approximately 8000 other that will have arrived in June. That sounds like alot, but remember they will be spread out over the entire month.

I walked from Porto to Santiago in late Apr - begining of May. The route is popular but pleasant. Plenty of accommodation options and ways to break it in chunks so that you won't need to run for the bed as in the French Way.
