2025 Via Francigena - Lucca to Rome
Hi,

I plan on joining the Class 2013 with a Camino which follows the Via Jacobi, Via Gebennensis, The Puy, Camino Frances and Finisterre Way caminos. I expect to walk 2,400 kms in total.

In preparation for this pilgrimage I have researched numerous guides and web sites to compile a listing of accommodation for these various routes. Attached is what I have found for the Finisterre Way route. I thought I would share this with fellow pilgrims as it may be of value to new and perhaps veteran pilgrims alike.

The spreadsheet is a first attempt and as such will be updated as I learn more. My intention is to likely focus more on private or shared stays in small hotels, pensions or other private accommodation.

You will note that the name of the establishment is highlighted in green where I have found a positive review (link has been included). I am very interested in hearing from anyone who:

Will share a positive experience on any accommodation listed or other if missing

Can provide a missing website address

Notices an error

Depending on feedback received I will republish the listing at a later date or not.

As the title says “Hope this is of use”.

Many thanks

Guy

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
HI Guy
many thanks for posting this. Just a couple of quick thoughts
firstly, you might want to post the next version as an .xls file so that people who just use Open Office can open it.
I was on this way last October.
I'd say there's at least four albergues in Negreira
In Olveiroa, the xunta/municipal is no longer the only albergue. I think it's the people who run the pension who have now opened an adjoining private albergue. This is great news as the options at this point were few.
In Cee there's a new albergue on the route called 'a casa da fonte'. It was looking a bit spartan (but spacious) when I was there as it's brand new. Guzman the hospitalero is very helpful. I think there's more details on the update page of the CSJ
Finally you might want to include in Finisterre the Albergue do Sol e da Lua. This used to be the legendary Casa Miguel and is still a special place. It's a bit 'alternative' and won't suit everyone. But if your camino has had a mystical/spiritual meaning for you, there is no better to place to finish the walking part of your journey and prepare for the living part...
cheers, tom

Guy,

Pension As Pias in Olveiroa:-
Website : http://www.aspias.net
Email : correo@aspias.net

Stayed in 2008, with group of 3 sharing quadruple room. It has bar and restaurant.
From memory it was about 120 Euros for all of us which covered room, 3 course dinner (with food, wine, copas, coffee), breakfast, iced water for bottles and 12 large beers on arrival (it was a long walk!).

I recall it being really nice accommodation and a gathering place for Peregrinos in the afternoon\early evening, whether staying there or in the Albergue.

Regards
Mig
