Finisterre to Santiago - Monday May 8, 2023

Hola! Just completed the Frances, and planned to take a bus today to Finesterre, however due to the bus strike tomorrow it’s not possible to come back on Monday. Looking for any last minute pilgrims that could split the cost of a taxi from Finesterre to Santiago on May 8. I would prefer to leave in the afternoon, but I’m flexible as long as I arrive before 8PM. Thanks!

Alternatively, I found a private transport option from Finisterre to Santiago on Tuesday May 10 at 8am for 70 euro, if anyone would like to split that (up to 6 people) .
 
The strike called for May 8 in the passenger transport sector has finally been called off.

Glad the strike is called off, what transport company did you find? I am interested in it for May 25…
 
I believe Dreamweaver just told you the name of the company.

I used the app BlaBlaCar, which is a ride share service that is very cheap if a local Spaniard happens to drive between your desired locations. It seems some Spanish commuters use this app to make some extra money, and it’s a brilliant idea. It’s like a community version of Uber. Just make sure to check driver reviews. Several pilgrims confirmed it worked well for them. Buen Camino!
