Finding old posts

I posted a link a couple of years ago and now want to find it again.
But I only seem to be able able to access 10 pages of my previous posts using 'search'.
That's not back far enuf. I can't remember the name of the thread.
Any way I can get back further?

TIA
Gerard

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Hi Gerard, try clicking on your profile picture, then click on "messages" only the posts from the new forum seem to be listed.
Happy New Year.

I too struggled to find an old thread, from 2009, last night. Clicking on Profile and then 'all thread', not 'all content' gave the thread I needed, but I did know who started the thread. Otherwise the 'all content' should work if you have some idea of when the thread was running. Also, surprisingly the long strip 'google search' gives more forum responses than the top right search box, which gives search engine returns. Happy hunting.

Hi, Gerard,
Not sure if this is what you mean, but I have been able to find lots of old threads simply by doing a search that uses some of the prominent terms in the discussion, even if I can't remember who participated or what the title was.

Hi wayfarer, Tia Valeria and peregrina200 and a very happy new year to you all.
Thanks for your help. Your ideas have brought about the desired result.
As it's now 12.06am here in Aus I can say it's the first thing I learnt in 2014!
Kind regards
Gerard
