Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been on the Camino 3 times, but somehow I never ended up signing up for the forum. Glad to be part of this community.

I live in Seattle and walked my first Camino in September 2018, the Frances from SJPDP (6 years ago tomorrow)! It truly was life changing and shifted my life in big ways. It led to my moving to Seattle, but even more so, impacted how I live my daily life. I never thought I would walk it again, but over time I've started to guide folks on shorter portions of the Camino, so now end up back on the trail each year. Since my first pilgrimage, I've walked Santiago to Muxia, Sarria to Santiago, and Barcelinos to Santiago (was supposed to start in Porto, but I had a bag disaster occur and had to shift my plans). Currently, I'm planning to walk the Ingles next year and have also started to walk St. Cuthbert's Way in the UK.

When I'm not walking my neighborhood, I'm a big film fan, and love exploring new places, all with good friends.

Buen Camino!

Welcome @JenManglos, you’ll find many like minded people here. Many have walked one or several Camino’s and some are hoping to or planning to when they can.

hi! I just joined the forum and this is my first post. I’m not sure how it works and if I’m just talking to one person or if this is a general welcome forum for many, but I’m glad to be here and I welcome everyone else as well!

I did the French Camino in 2014, and was supposed to do Portugal, but Covid interrupted that. I will be taking off from Lisbon next week! Very excited and looking forward to meeting people along the way:-)

Hi, & welcome, I've just the Ingles, you can start it at the ruins of Reading Abbey, in Reading, then walk to Southampton, I did this in May, nice walk, but the river had flooded in a few places, & as it's a relative new way, the logistics are not quite there, if you get hold of the Confraternity of St James, in London, one of there members loves nearby, & could act as a guide for a day or to, if you need any advice on this leg, feel free to message me....

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hi Jen, I'm a relative forum newbie too and have found this forum just as welcoming as any Camino. And the advice and handy hints you'll pick up are priceless. Buen Camino!
