I stayed at Gite du Gua this past June for 2 nights. I loved this quirky, clean place! It is owned and operated by a French mother and adult son. I found them very welcoming, delightful and the dinner they provided was exquisite! Highly recommend!Seems there are quite a few options in Figeac. Has anyone had experience with either Gite du Gua or Le Soleilho? Any other great spot to recommend?
I wonder if auto-correct has changed the name of the Cafe-Hotel Champollion? The Hotel Cosmopolitan is in a great location and a good value
No. I pulled the wrong name off Google Maps looking for the hotel overlooking Les Halles!I wonder if auto-correct has changed the name of the Cafe-Hotel Champollion?

Thanks, that place looks charming! I booked it!I can recommend the Chambres d'hôtes "Les Pratges."
A beautiful old French house on the south side of the river, excellent breakfast and a short walk across the footbridge to restaurants. A cheaper option is the Hotel au Pont du Pin which is right on the Chemin, and appears to have been done up a bit since I last stayed.
