Hi, Bill,
The cheapest would be flying. There are Ryanair flights from Venice/Treviso airport (TSF) to Paris/Beauvais for 26€ at the moment. EasyJet fly from Venice/Marco Polo to Paris/Charles de Gaulle & Orly for 36€.
I usually use www.skyscanner.com for finding tickets.
I live in Ljubljana, Slovenia and EPW goes through it. If you want let me know when you will be here and I can give you a free tour through the city
