I know it works with the iPhone so I'm sure it will work with the other kind.
Hi,
Can i just ask.....re Easyjet. I have downloaded the app , so do all i need is wifi on my way to Santiago to download my boarding pass to my phone. Can only do it within one month from date of departure their website mentions. I think i have discovered im becoming like my grandparents going back a few years........ technology, use it or lose it. What the...wifi isnt internet provider dependant..?
Thanks for any reply.

Hi Bradypus... until recently i believed a sim card was necessary for all things internet/wifi. I had been reading posts about sim cards in Spain. Now with your confirmation i believe i can get by with just wifi .... for boarding passes and say whatsapp. ThanksNot quite clear what you asking. If your phone has wifi capability then it should be able to connect to any wifi network: it is not tied to any one internet or mobile phone provider. Quite separate from the GSM/3G/4G mobile phone service which often is locked to one provider and their local affiliates in other countries. There are many places along the Caminos offering free wifi and you should have no trouble downloading your Easyjet boarding pass through those. I have done so myself several times.
Thanks Waka.....still waiting for the grandkids. Appreciate your assistance on this.Seems im not as smart as i keep telling anyone who will listen. CheersYou need young Children or Grand Children to help you, they are a font of knowledge when it comes to todays technology.
One month before departure just put in your flight code, this will allow you to checkin, automatically (if you've set up the app) you'll get your electronic boarding pass. If you have an iPhone then this will go into your wallet, not sure about other phones.
Now if I've got this wrong I'm sure someone will correct me, that's what they did when I was at school
Yes, you will be charged through the nose for airport check-in!To all you experienced Easyjet travelers. Is it a requirement, like Ryan-air, that you print out your Boarding pass prior to checking in or you get charged at check-in?
Thanks,
Joe
