Easy walk

I got an e-mail from Jim today that I wanted to hear your opinion on. He is in his 60's, has 10-12 days to walk and is in regular shape. His question:

Which would be a easier walk, Ourense to Santiago or Sarria to Santiago. I am walking often to get in shape and have 10 to 12 days to walk a route. If you have other thoughts as to routes please let me know.

Anyone with suggestions for Jim?

If you have about 10 days, I would recommend Ponferrada, about 200 km from Compostela.

I have about 12 days and will be starting in Astorga, which is 50 km further down the Camino.
