Is Easter Monday a holiday? It is, for the most part, here--so am unsure.

Looking at the bus from Burgos to Santa Domingo de Silos.....no weekend service or on "festivos."

Should I plan on service that day or not. Thoughts?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Public Holidays in Spain

Burgos is in Castile y Leon. According to wikipedia .. Monday following Easter Sunday is not a public holiday. So there will most likely be service ... but Spain really takes its holidays seriously so be prepared that there might not be.

Thanks. I fiddled and translated my question and sent it off via their website. Will see what happens. Guess I might have tried that first, huh? Good to be aware of holidays and be prepared.

I have the previous week in Burgos so if I need to stay an extra night there, it could be done. Or else...make a different plan.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Adjusting as I go, it seems that Easter Monday might not be as big an issue, as that it appears that Wednesday, April 23 is a holiday in that area. That day I had thought I would return to Burgos by bus and start walking the next day. That might not work.

Flexibility and information are good and as much as I would like to have this planned, it might be easier when there.
