Woke up in the albergue at Santo Domingo de Silos this morning to find 2-3cm of snow lying. Very pretty and nothing to worry about and it was DSC_0147.webpmostly burnt off by a bright sun by the time I got to the highest point of the day (c1200m) on the way to lovely Covarrubias.

But some other parts of Spain have it much worse - Rosy, the hospitalera at Fasgar, has posted a picture on the Olvidado Facebook page showing snow that looks about a foot deep.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
And what a wonderful day's walk that is, even on a day without snow! Buen camino, Alan, whichever wsy you choose to go to Burgos!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
