I guess it depends on which route, but thaat was not our experience on the Lisbon-Porto route or the Litoral/Coastal from Porto north. There was many a day where it was several hours between bars and restaurants (especially on Sunday when everything closes down). We drank tap water in bottles we re-filled every night, never bought any. We saw very few fountains.
Water is good to drink all around Portugal, no need to get bottled water. Lisbon to Porto could be much tricky though as many water fonts are empty or water is not for drinking but for agricultural purposes, and there are long stretches without any cafes in sight. Porto to Santiago is easy water wise, at least on the central way. Carried half a litter bottle with me, was enough, replenished it frequently.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
