@ivar , while I love the new drop down menu tomhelp pick a thread one wants to post in I unfortunately find the new rectangles that show up on the left hand side of the screen when you get a new notification very annoying, especially when one hasn't logged in in ages. They take for to get off the screen. I don't know if others like them or not ...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I don’t like them aswell, very annoying.
Wish you well, Peter.

On a computer screen, not an issue. On a phone, it probably would be an issue. Perhaps the option can be made a configurable item for each person?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
It partly covers the posts on my screen if there are more than 2 alerts, so I am not enthusiastic about it. Does it pop-up too if writing a reply? That would be really annoying.

I don't really care for them but ::shrug:: they don't bother me THAT much.
Just if give a choice I'd say nope.

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
@Anemone del Camino and others - these only appear if you have asked to be alerted to something. It is easy to change your alert preferences. Go to your forum name, a dropdown box appears where you can change them. If you don't want to see those boxes de-select the options.

Ah, thanks. Didn't care for them either.

Do we still get the small number of alerts in the top right hand corner if we disactivate whatever it is we must have activated?

I would like to have the top corner alerts (and email if opted in per thread), but this morning the pop-up was a real nuisance so I would prefer to opt-in/out for that like for the emails. Can that be done at all @ivar ? It would be good if it could.
[Edit:- I have just turned off as many alerts as possible - frustrating waiting for the pop-up to clear. Sorry @ivar I don't like it as a feature]
