Here are two places in Irache that Graeme may mean. If they didn't make the markers perhaps they know who did.I reckon the bloke in the little metal foundry place a few metres before the Irache wine fountain might be a good bet. He has lots of lovely things like that that he makes.
I've also sent the picture to Camino friends who live in Logroño to see if they have any ideas.
I'd completely forgotten all about that place but you are right!! We browsed through there and he had a lot of stuff of interest.... unfortunately we didn't want to add weight to our packs!!I reckon the bloke in the little metal foundry place a few metres before the Irache wine fountain might be a good bet. I have a Camino friend who did just that on his inner forearm. That would make a nice tattoo.
I was thinking bicep with the extend lines going all the way around the arm.I have a Camino friend who did just that on his inner forearm.
In looking at the photo again, I think that it would look very nice.I was thinking bicep with the extend lines going all the way around the arm.
I actually decided against a tattoo. I already have a Camino tat from when I walked Sarria to Santiago in 2018. Having just finished the full Camino last week, I have decided that the Sarria stage alone did not earn me that tattoo. In looking at the photo again, I think that it would look very nice.
