Do municipal albergues in Asturias accept transferred bags?

HI, does anyone know if Municipal albergues in Asturias accept transferred bags? I know they don't in Galicia. I'm walking with my dad (76) and trying to make a vague plan and neither of us have used a transfer before but are considering it for this route. Thank you.

I'd say probably not. You can use the Correos website to find accommodations where they do pick ups and deliveries.

There should be plenty of private places in Asturias that accept transferred bags.

Generally speaking, if they don't accept reservations, they also don't accept bag transfers.

Agree with above. Private albergues in either community that accept reservations also usually accept bag transfer.

Depending on your day 1 experience, route, and time of year, it *is* possible to do your 1st day walk, and then get on WhatsApp before 2000 local time, make a reservation for day 2, and contact a transfer company to ship your bag there. The Lord is my witness that that's pretty much what I did.

Correos delivered our bags to the municipal in Escamplero, AND to the municipal in Cornellanas, in September last year, so you can certainly have your bags delivered to some municipal albergues on the Primitivo .
