Distance from Vilarinho to Barcelos

Hi everyone!

we will be walking along the Camino Portugues next month, and now that we are collecting more info about the way, we are getting more confused about the distance between Vilarinho And Barcelos. Some guides and web pages say that there are 11-17 kms., other web pages say that there are 28!!!
Can anyone tell us the truth from his/her experience?
How many kms. will we have to walk from Vilarinho to San Pedro de Rates, and from there to Barcelos?

Hola - have a look at this downloadable guide which gives these distances. But remember the "albergue" in Vilharino had only 2 bunk beds - best to check out whether there is alternative accommodation.
