Descriptive terminology for camino author

MKalcolm M

Solvitur ambulando - It is solved by walking
Time of past OR future Camino
north route spring 2013
While I first walked the camino, I made up stories about it to tell to my eight year old daughter when I got home. More recently we walked together and took turns at making up a story as we walked, this lead to a lot of laughs, but also disagreements as to possible outcomes and alternative variations within the story.

When asked if I considered myself as a camino author, I would have said "No, I'm a wandering wordsmith", but musing on this made me wonder if "academic ambulator" was more apt. My daughter would call me a "pedantic pedestrian" or a "hairsplitting hiker", which lacks the dignity of "scholastic stroller" or the detail of "particular perambulator".

So what is the best description of someone who walks the camino, making up stories as they go?

Could you simply be a peripatetic? Or use it as an adjective with pedestrian or perambulator if you need some alliteration, but the nouns would be a bit redundant!
