Customs when connecting through LHR

Will I need to go through Customs in London if I am connecting through to Madrid?

Not 'customs', but you will go through security checks, x-rays, when you change terminals and that is just about the same thing at LHR. Keeping it safe, we hope! I'll be there 22 May in route to SoAfrica. Buen...
