€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hola

The answer depends on where you plan to sleep. There are albergues on the Camino Ingles but the distances between them are not the most convenient. Many pilgrims walking the Camino Ingles prefer to sleep in hotel or hostal accommodation. There are some indicative prices and contacts in the guide:

Before you go lay out all your items and your money - then take half of your items and twice the money

Buen Camino!

Don't know where you arrive or when. Santiago? Explore bus to Ferrol and then walk to Neda (11K) albergue which could be the cheapest option, but don't forget you need to get a credential (you can get one at Neda and still qualify for a Credential). Yes the distances can be quite long between Mino and Bruma albergues - 32K with a considerable uphill stretch before Bruma. But staying in them certainly keeps costs down and 30E is very doable. Don't forget transport costs. It all depends on how fit you are. I suggest you look at Johnnie Walker's guide.
I walked it last year and thou roughly enjoyed it (So much so that I added the Finisterra and am now totally hooked).

To shorten stage lengths, take six days. Two to three of them will require staying in hostales, none of which are expensive, but will be 20E more than the albergues.

We used a mix of albergues and hostales, taken from Johnnie's CSJ guide. (See blog returntothecamino - May 2011 entries) As he says price guides are there for accomodation, then you need to factor in meals, menu del dia and coffees etc. If you budget for 30-40 euros per day then having money to take home is a pleasant surprise. :)
