Portuguese Camino 2016
In 2016 we used a Portugal based company to arrange our accommodation and luggage transport when we walked the coastal route from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. I would appreciate recommendations where you have used preferably a local company for El Camino del Norte. Many thanks.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
There is an abundance of accommodation along that route (it's a holiday area) that can be booked using the booking.com app on your phone as you go. One day ahead is usually plenty, and no need to speak Spanish. And transport of luggage as you go - using Correos. No need to pre-arrange anything.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

Below are links to two companies that offer self-guided trips on the Norte. Although these are not local Spanish companies, I believe that they use local organizations in Spain as their agents. If that is important to you, you should confirm that with them.

I have no connection to either company.
Thanks Doogman; I’ll check them out. The reason I want to use local companies is that they can be contacted easily if there are any problems. Friends from Australia used a non local comapany. They had a problem but could not contact the company as it was in the middle of the night where the company was based and the office was closed.

Has anyone used Spain is more agency? I hope someone knows, as they are based in León. Only I feel they will know the Camino del Norte well. I have used Follow the Camino but they only do the Primitivo and I'm not fit enough this year to do that route. I just want to check they are ok.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
