Time of past OR future Camino
Virgos to leon (2017)
In Santiago now but "real" life beckons, back to work....impatient to start again though for 2018, would like to avoid extreme weather, does it stop being rainy at all around april/ may?

Hardly any rain in April/May this year at least compared with walking in September/October 2015. I was all geared up and mentally prepared for walking through the usual wet spring and instead watched the wheat seedlings dying in the fields. Which probably just goes to show that you can’t predict the weather, especially these days.

When I do walk long distance's where ever that will be , It's always in April/May thats because I love that part of the year.

And as already stated we can't predict the weather so hope for the best.

I've always walked April/May and love that time of year. I had very little rain each time..."knock on wood".
 
Congrats to you !!!! Welcome to the club and just know there is no known cure for the disease you have now acquired !!!! I believe we all, on this forum, have the same symptoms.

Hey Sailor .... we are planning for an April 23 (2018) departure on the VdlP / Camino Sanbrés.... Can’t wait....

Thanks! I keep looking at VdlP and El Norte and both are on the top of my short list for the Spring of 2018. Que la luz de Dios alumbre su camino.

I hope to walk El Norte starting beginning of March 2018.
