(2012) Saint Jean to Santiago. (august 2013) plan to walk fron Porto to Santiago
Hi all ,
we are towards the end of our camino primitivo. When we arrive in Santiago we would like to get the certificate celebrating 800 years from St. Francis' camino. Can we get it before the Compostela?
Thanks
Piera

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
As I recall, the monk just required to see the pilgrims passport/credentials and asked for my name (which someone else wrote onto the document). I had mine already stamped by the pilgrims office, but did not bring along the actual Compostela.
Left a donation with them and much gratitude.
Bom Caminho!

Yes you can.

My wife and our got it as we walked into Santiago on the Camino Ingles on Aug 3. We passed the Franciscan church on our way to the Peregrino Office. Stopped in got our "credencial" stamped by the Franciscan monks and we received our Cotolaya. Then we continued onto the Peregrino Office where we got our final stamp and our Compostela.

Ondo Ibili !
Thanks tomorrow will be in Santiago

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
