Do I need a surge protector or just an adaptor to charge me cell phone?

Welcome Joanne, I think the adapter should be just fine, I have never heard of anyone having problems with power surges on the Camino.

Agree. Less is best carry wise anyway.

Hi Joanne, I don't know where you are from and what phone do you have, may be you don't either need an adaptor...
