Camping on the Camino

Well, we are leaving for Spain in less than two months. We are biking. I must admit I haven't done much training yet, there has been little time. Anyways, from what we have heard and read, pilgrims on foot have absolute priority over pilgrims on bikes at the albergues. Because we are going in June, it is likely that there will already be plenty of people on the Camino. So we have purchased a light tent and are ready to camp out most of the time. What is the deal with camping in Spain along the Camino? Can we pitch a tent anywhere? Are there campgrounds? How much do they cost? Would we perhaps be able to camp on property of the albergue, e.g. if it has a garden or such? Thank you for any information! Anybody leaving from Roncesvalles on June 5, we'll be seeing you!!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
