I am hoping to take a group of Duke of Edinburgh's Award young people to Gijon to start their Camino next year. For the 1st 4 days they will be doing their Gold Expedition but the rules say they must camp. Does anyone have any ideas of suitable places/ albergues that allow camping after Gijon? Once they have completed their expedition they will become full time Pilgrims and use the Albergues en route. Thank you if you can help.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hola Hugh. I have only just found this thread. If you PM Angulero he might be able to help as he lives near Gijón. He only speaks spanish so sending in English is OK and with a Bing (or similar) translation if you can. He usually does a double rely the same way.
Buen Camino.
PS - you don't live far from us - have you checked out the Camigos in S Devon 2014 thread? Be good to meet you sometime.
