For those looking for similar experiences elsewhere in the world, I highly recommend the book, “ Walking Distance: extraordinary hikes for ordinary people” by Robert and Martha Manning! It highlights dozens of hikes around the world (including the Camino de Santiago) with info on the availability of housing, transportation, baggage services, etc. More of a coffee table book than a serious guide, it’s perfect for scoping out where to travel next!
