The
Brierley book is very good (both maps and accommodation - tho the signage is pretty good all the way, other than a bit in the
Brierley that he says is a signage nightmare because of forest fires, and it is... You'll know it when you get there. Take the *steep* path right....!). There are many larger towns along the way where you'll get places to stay easily (not always in albergues, I guess, but that's up to you!). I stayed in very cheap hotels (I was biking and needed to book ahead in cheap hotels, for safety reasons) and loved the trip - make sure you leave plenty of time for Coimbra and Porto, in particular!
