I am considering the Camino Portuguese beginning in late October. My concerns are will there be accommodations from Lisbon to Santiago and what will the weather be like?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The Brierley book is very good (both maps and accommodation - tho the signage is pretty good all the way, other than a bit in the Brierley that he says is a signage nightmare because of forest fires, and it is... You'll know it when you get there. Take the *steep* path right....!). There are many larger towns along the way where you'll get places to stay easily (not always in albergues, I guess, but that's up to you!). I stayed in very cheap hotels (I was biking and needed to book ahead in cheap hotels, for safety reasons) and loved the trip - make sure you leave plenty of time for Coimbra and Porto, in particular!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Just bought the Brierley Book and had a quick scan through ... looks good. Now need to get the other map book too. Will also download Johnny 's document. Might stay in hostels/hotels if albergues are closed.

Olá , there is a 10-days forecast for Portugal. Well, late November the weather is always a bit on the rainy and windy side. Have a look: https://www.ipma.pt/en/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/

Bom caminho,, Rainer
