Camino Portuguese on Google Maps - Available to download

For those who are planning to walk the Camino Portuguese, I've marked every stage on Google maps so you can download it on your phone and use it during your way.
Main stages have a link with info on tips, what to see and what to eat.
Hope you find it useful, any feedback is appreciated x

Thank you for posting this information. You have put a lot of effort into your project and I reassure you that it is appreciated.

I am contemplating walking the Camino Portuguese (CP) this year. I wish to walk the main route that has traditionally been used by the majority of pilgrims and that will have the greatest availability of pilgrim infrastructure.

Do the waypoints that you have collated represent the "main" Camino Portuguese? The reason that I ask is that there seem to be numerous variants of the CP (Coastal, Central, Variante Espiritual, Rota Vicentina, Interior Route, etc.) and I find the terminology used to identify the route variants a bit baffling. I am tempted to assume that your waypoints define the main route, however, life has taught me that the making of assumptions is risky.

I hope that you can help me out in this.

Thank you.

Hello! The map that I have done represents the Coastal way, which is the most popular and followed one due to its landscape. It's also the best conditioned for pilgrims as most of them go through there. You can take the Central route, where you'll find less pilgrims if your goal is to have a quieter Camino. The landscape is still beautiful, more "foresty", and the path is a bit shorter (I think is around 20 km shorter)
It really depends on what suits you best and your preferred landscape and towns through the Camino.
